A Royal Chancery

It has been a very long time since posting on this blog due to a lot of varying factors. I was given the chance about 2 years ago to create a paste up in Chancery Lane for when the Bendigo Art Gallery hosted the  Tudors to Windsors exhibition during 2019. However the paste-up is no longer there which is part of the idea with street art and paste ups that it is only temporary. Below are images of the process and final piece that was along the lane way walls. I called it A Royal Chancery taking the name of the lane and adding a royal feel to it.

^ Above is what the wall was originally, so it wasn't my usual small projects that I would normally do.

^ Ended up choosing a very rich purple to cover the bare brick.

^ Hand drew a large crown image using graphite pencil, fine liners and sharpie markers.

^ Freshly pasted up crown with gold paper doilies and red triangles.

^ My mum had also been involved with the paste up and created a piece using mixed media elements.
