The Real & The Imaginary :: Shaun Tan

The Bendigo Art Gallery has an amazing little exhibition on by the works of Shaun Tan which runs until September 1st. It did coincide with the Bendigo Writers Festival.

There is also a cute exhibition catalog for $5 in the Gallery Shop as well.

It features development sketches for books and the animated short, The Lost Thing as well as original artworks including from when he was six years old. There was also Papier Mâché sculptures which were a surprise as I had no idea he created these also.
