Last night was the launch of
The Nerdy Birdy; written by
Danielle Wheeldon and illustrated by
David Snowdon at
View | Point Handmade Gallery. It is a gorgeous picture book with a strong message of anti-bullying and it is inspiring to know young local people can set out what they want to achieve and get there.
The event was packed with people, even the little ones, eating candy and getting photos taken with Ned { The Nerdy Birdy }. Be sure to check it out.
