Aids Awareness week is held during 24th of November to the 1st of December, and during this time is the annual Red Ribbon Exhibition and Competition. The opening night is Friday 20th of November and is held at Bendigo TAFE's Gallery B. Each work must include a red ribbon to show the support of the awareness and works can also be put into a silent auction and 10-20% of the proceeds of works sold go to the direct support of people living with HIV via the David Williams Fund and CAN-DO Gift Fund. I shall be exhibiting a work that night and shall post a blog about the night and works after the opening. You can find more about what CAN do and how they help people by going to the website HERE.
