Yesterday at El Gordo was the Enid Blyton Charity Book Sale & book reading by the lovely Charlotte Spencer; she read an excerpt from The Magic Faraway Tree. It blended well with the new exhibition that El Gordo is showing; The Forest Flaw by Robyn Helbard {handmade creatures from the forest floor}. They are all gorgeous. I also loved the stall selling only Enid Blyton books, which was run by the Y’s Men's Service Club of Bendigo Charity Fund, which all proceeds went to. I purchased Hurrah for the Circus. It was such a lovely day!
