The Boxtrolls is the new stop motion feature from Laika
Studios, the amazing people behind Coraline and ParaNorman.
Today’s screening throughout Australia was a special preview
for the Starlight Foundation's Movie Month with $2 from each ticket going to the
wonderful organization.
It follows Eggs (Isaac Hempstead Wright) with his unlikely
family of Boxtrolls who are being hunted by the Red Hats, with voice of Ben
Kingsly as the main henchman, Archibald Snatcher. In a turn of events, a young
girl by the name of Winnie (Elle Fanning) notices the young boy with the
Boxtrolls one night and here starts a whole new adventure for her.
The story is adventurous and touching with gorgeous design
elements with a huge handful of well-known voices of Toni Collette, Nick Frost,
Simon Pegg and Richard Ayoade. It is a must see for animation fanatics and is
officially released September 18th.
