Cirque du Soleil Act to Perform in Bendigo

Bendigo residents will get to experience a taste of the world renowned Cirque du Soleil® this May with a free mini performance at Bendigo Town Hall.

As the presenting sponsor of the 2011 Saltimbanco Australian tour, Optus will be giving Bendigo residents a glimpse into the Cirque du Soleil artistry, including breathtaking acrobatics, spectacular costumes and enchanting music.
Bendigo residents are invited to come down to the Town Hall to enjoy a free performance on Saturday 21st May. The event will include Saltimbanco inspired face painting, juggling lessons with an expert juggler and prize give-aways.

Optus Country General Manager, Anthony Shiner says Optus is excited to bring a Cirque du Soleil mini performance to Bendigo in what will be a fun event for all. “We’re inviting the local community to come along and experience a specially designed performance of a Cirque du Soleil act. A worldwide phenomenon, Saltimbanco has been seen by over 12 million people since it premiered in 1992 and we’re delighted to bring a sneak peak of the show to Bendigo for residents to enjoy too.”
