zine-y goodness!

Today was a zine workshop at the Bendigo Library with writer Simmone Howell. I had great fun, we made a zine using one sheet of A3 paper, by folding it in a way and cutting plus more folding. I took some images from home; a playing card, doily, + various little cute magazine clippings. Simmone had old books that we could cut up, as well as stamps & postcards. My zine was inspired by Alice in Wonderland & French Films. I like the end result of mine, but not sure if in color or black & white. The zines that were made today were put on display in the library.

One last thing, in a previous post with My Spoondiful Bunny, I would have mentioned about the lovely Spoonful Zine, the winners' were announce, though not being one, I thought this was great fun and was good to get my little drawings out, the drawings of entrants are now all in a Flickr Set for your browsing goodness.

PS ~ a small CD single review I did on Katie Noonan and The Captains' "Page One" Single is in the latest Spress! + can also be viewed on the website here.
